Display Pages
You can tell the software which pages to display. You may not care to see depreciation or other pages that Lease Calc Pro has to offer.
By default, all pages are visible.
Headings
You can control the heading for each Lease Calc Pro report. Headings can contain pictures and other graphics and can be whatever font or pitch desired.
It is easier to edit the heading by right-clicking on the heading and then selecting "Edit" from the menu. When you are done editing, select File - Save and Exit from the editor's menu. You still will need to press the Save button to finalize your changes.
Other Options
Show Other Charges Detail? will set the default on the Quote page.
Automatic Look for Updates? will allow the program to automatically look for updates every 60 days.
Date Display Format will allow for dates to be displayed in either a MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY format. This will not affect the storage of date fields in the data files. Dates are always stored in a MM/DD/YYYY format. If you use your own program to read these files, be aware of this.
Telephone Formatting will allow for telephone numbers to be displayed as a formatted, U.S.-style string, such as "(626) 555-1212", or have no formatting at all. WARNING! If you switch to "No Formatting" and then switch back at a later date, you may lose data. Formatted telephone numbers are stored in the data files as digits only, such as "6265551212", and have no embedded spaces or non-digit characters. When formatting is turned off, ANY character may be used in the telephone fields, including spaces, alphas, and other characters. Without formatting, they are stored as you see them on the screen, such as "626-555-1212". If you turn formatting back on and open a lease file, the telephone formatting will display (in this example) as "(626) -55-5-12". To avoid this, you may edit the deal file (using Windows Notepad) and manually reformat each phone number back to a "6265551212" fashion.
GST / HST will allow you to set default values to fill in when the "G" buttons are pressed down in the Optional Data Taxes section.
PST will allow you to set default values to fill in when the "P" buttons are pressed down in the Optional Data Taxes section.
